My name is Jack Chatelain.
Born, raised, and based in Salt Lake City.
My alma mater is the University of Utah, where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Strategic Communication in December 2021. Go Utes!
Eventually, I dream of moving somewhere new, but that day won’t be until I find a place that holds a candle to the unparalleled beauty of the Wasatch Mountains.
As a confessed introvert, I enjoy teaming up with a tight-knit group of like-minded, driven individuals.
You’ll often find me carving canyon roads in my car, building and tinkering on computers, experiencing video games or advanced simulators, practicing various forms of photography, watching a well-written show, or enjoying the great outdoors of the Mountain West. And I’ll be jamming to music the entire time.
With my degree in Strategic Communication, I hope to incorporate my core values and inherent strengths into my work alongside a strong team.

Writing
My enjoyment for writing was solidified in high school, where I improved upon my abilities by writing essays in my English concurrent enrollment program. This enticed me into landing on strategic communication as my college major.
I became drawn to writing more than any other subject because it allowed me to harness my creativity to fulfill assignments. I found this much more gratifying than memorizing strict methods for problem-solving, as is often required in mathematics.
My expertise is geared toward creative copywriting in a storytelling format. I am currently a full-time copywriter in the travel industry, employed by World Travel Holdings. I write about cruise line sailings for numerous house & partnered travel agencies of varying sizes; located in or sailing across all seven continents.
Photography
Since I studied photography in my first year of college, I have been thoroughly captivated by the powerful medium of a picture.
I am adept at capturing the branding and voice of established brands in my photos, and I have expertise in drawing new audiences in emerging markets. My strongest areas in photography are automotive, real estate, and in-context/lifestyle product photography.
Digital Marketing
I am experienced in constructing online & social media marketing campaigns. My goal with each specialized campaign is to utilize various forms of media to convey a reputable online brand image.
Each campaign has a well-defined target audience, compelling and relevant content, a strategic mix of online channels (such as social media, email, SEO, and paid advertising), data-driven analytics, and continuous optimization.
By combining market research with my photography, Canva, and writing skills, I am confident marketing practically any product or cause.
